Working in East Asia: China follows Tigers’ path

Richer but more unequal countries and regions that do not have a minimum wage at all – such as Hong Kong, Brunei and Malaysia – also look set to introduce minimum wage laws, leaving just Singapore and Macao in East Asia as hold-outs against such legislation in their economies.
